Evening all, hope you have all had a good weekend, I've not been home long as I have spent the day at Chessington with the girls. The weather wasn't too bad, sunnyish with a couple of heavy showers - at least they passed over quickly. I made a Christmas Card yesterday as I wanted to use my new die ( I think I might have got a bit carried away using it!!!) and I love this image little James bear playing in the snow...

Candy Cane Tester

Good evening, hope everyone is keeping well, it has been another fine day here - not that I've seen much of it as I've been at work today. My card this evening is a Christmas card that I made yesterday (I had to wait until this morning to photograph it because it was too dark). I have been inspired by the challenge at Winter Wonderland where they want to see candy canes, I thought this house mouse stamp was perfect., the papers also have candy canes and I have used the colours from these for my colour scheme.  My layout follows a sketch at sketch n stash where the challenge is a free choice (I chose the sketch from challenge 64). As the papers are quite busy I used card candy to finish, coloured to match the papers.

Labour of Love

Afternoon everyone, hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend. The sun has been shining all morning, actually feels like summer for once. My card today has been inspired by the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, where the challenge is to use 5 circles. I have  used a long stamp and split it into 3 individual images  and made the other 2 by using die cut circles.  I have added faux stitching to the images and added a pearl to each corner, as there is a lot going on I have left it quite simple.

'In the Garden'

Hello everyone, hope you are all well, almost the weekend, can't wait. My card today has been made with the challenge at Lili's Little Fairies in mind. The theme this week is in the garden and I thought that this stamp was perfect. I have tried to make a garden scene using die cuts. I have used the fence before but not the others. The branch was made using part of a Cheery Lynn die. I have mounted the dp, the image and cut the diecuts with kraft card..

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all well, sorry I haven't been around for a while, but I took the girls away for a few days over half term and when I got back I came down with a bug and haven't felt like doing anything. I am feeling a lot better today and have even had the energy to make a card. I have used the sketch from sketch saturday which I rotated to fit my image better, and I was inspired by the I love promarkers challenge which is tutti fruitti. I don't have any tutti fruitti images so went for tutti fruitti colours.  I hope to come round and visit you all over the next couple of days and catch up on some commenting.
