Little Girls - Swing Time

Hope you all have had a good weekend, sorry I haven't been around much, I'm having a new bathroom put in and its surprising how disruptive it has been. It poured with rain most of yesterday and I wanted to craft and most of the things that were in the bathroom have been put in front of the things I wanted to craft with. Still I managed it in the end. The bathrooms almost finished so things can get back to normal. I have used my new embossing folder (I love this, think I shall be using it lots) and a lotv stamp, its one of the first that I bought and I haven't used it for ages. It reminds my of when my sisters and I were little, trying to take the dog on the swing, trouble was the seat wasn't that wide!!!

Super Striker

Hope everyone had a good weekend, it was fairly quite here yesterday so I had a bit of time to craft. I decided to make a male card for a change, as I hadn't made one for a while and it was an excuse to use another stamp that hadn't seen any ink. I've got a few male birthdays coming up so I decided not to add a sentiment until I decide what I am going to do with it.

Merry Christmas Penguins

Hi, hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend. I've just finished work for today, just tomorrow morning to go and then I can relax. Quite a few challenges are asking for Christmas cards at the moment and I have been looking for an excuse to use one of the other LOTV stamps that fell into my basket the other day. I found my card quite hard to photograph today  (too little light in the back garden and too much in the front). This image is quite large so I was struggling with a layout until I remembered some cards that I bought from Hunkydory.

Ingredients:

image - lotv 'merry christmas penguins'
cuttlebug embossing folder - 'polka dots'/'snow dots'
marianne poinsettia die

Golden Wedding

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. I would like to say hello to my new followers and apologise for not having been around much last week. I will try and catch up with you all later. Bit of a change in the weather today, after such a fabulous weekend. I took my grandsons to Legoland on Sunday and the weather was glorious - the boys even went in the splash pools and fountains. My card today is one that I made for a friends wedding. Her colour scheme was gold so I made her card to match. This was the first time that I have tried inking the embossing folder, before embossing the card, I was quite happy with the result and it made the embossing look totally different. As I didn't have any wedding stamps when I made the card I used a LOTV die cut square mounted on gold card.

Ingredients:

Taking A Rest

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are all enjoying the weekend, weather isn't too brilliant today so I have spent some time crafting. I would also like to say hello to my new followers, thank you for following me. Sorry I haven't been around much this week, but it has been really busy at work, and I have spent some time  getting the girls ready to go back to school.  I was very naughty, I couldn't resist - I bought a couple of the new christmas stamps from Lili of the Valley. oops (a paper pad fell into my basket as well) well it was free postage. I have made today's card using one of my new stamps and paper, I have used frosted lace stickles for the snow because I like the icy texture that it gives. I have also followed the sketch at Friday Sketch Challenge.
