Blossom

Hi, everyone, hope you are all well. Its another miserable day - the rain seems to be back with a vengeance.
Sorry I haven't been around much, we are understaffed at work and by the time I get home I'm too tired to do anything. I have however managed to make a card - I was determined. My card has been inspired by a couple of my new dies, which I was determined to use, and this is what I came up with, (sorry the photo isn't very good, the light is terrible)

Ingredients:

papers - papermania 'lucy cromwell'
image - house mouse - 'spring - tulip'
fence die - marianne creatable
arboscello tree/fancy blossoms - memory box
leaves/swirls - cheery lynn
gems - bazzill bling
coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Gone Fishing/Father's Day

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are all well. It had still been sunny here until about ten minutes ago, when the clouds opened, it is now chucking it down and there is thunder and lightning. It has been very muggy today so hopefully it will now cool down.  My card today is for the Lili's Little Fairies Challenge, who want to see anything but a square,  and I think I am going to make it by the skin of my teeth.  I bought some Kanban cards a little while ago, and they are really different - round, hexagonal - great for this challenge and as I haven't made a male card for a little while I thought I would make a father's day card.

Ingredients:

card - kanban
papers - docraft
image/sentiment - lily of the valley 'gone fishing'
charm - ebay
bakers twine - papermania
coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Video Boy

Hope everybody has enjoyed the long weekend and the Easter hols. I am on holiday this week and have a few things planned with the girls and the grandchildren. We went to the London Aquarium today, my youngest grandson was fascinated, but I think he would have rather got in the tanks than watched from the outside.
My card this evening is one that I have made for my older nephews birthday in a few weeks. He's not into cutesy images and I thought this one was rather apt.

The buttons sort of reminded me of the symbols on the controller. I enjoyed using the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp so much that I have used it again with a slight variation.

Ingredients:

papers - papermania 'for him'
stamp - mo manning 'video boy;
buttons - local haberdashery shop
coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Joanna Sheen Challenge - 'Its a man's world'
Mo's digital challenge - #129 'anything goes'
Cards for Men - challenge #8 'spring colours'
Scrapbook Sisters - challenge #78 'dads birthday/men
Sunday Sketch and Stamp -  challenge #101 'marie's sketch'
