Lazy Days

Hasn't it been a beautiful day, the sun has been shining almost none stop, and I have spent a lovely day at Legoland with my grandson.  These geese and gosling where the last thing we expected to see, we thought they were made out of  lego bricks until one of the babies moved!!!

Precious Present

Hi, hope everybody is well and not feeling too washed out with all this rain. I'm back at work this week and I'm shattered. It was my day off yesterday, but had to go to a meeting at my daughters school and ended up getting soaked four times.

My card today is made with a stamp that I brought a few months ago because I fell in love with them and this is the first time that  it's been inked (this one and a few others in the set!!)

Peaches and Cream Take 2

It has been a really miserable rainy day here. So I used that excuse to play!  Its my twins fifteenth birthday on Tuesday and although I have some cards made it is better if they are similar to stop any arguments. When I saw the challenge at Lili's Little Fairies it gave me an excuse to make a card similar to the one I made the other day. (I apologize for the photo the light is really bad)

I was inspired to make a card for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, which is "floral frenzy"

This image seemed totally apt!

I decided to use a sketch from "sketch and stash", their current  challenge  is free choice sketch, so I chose sketch 7 for my card - papers, stamps and gems from stash.

Hopefully I will get the hang of this blogging lark - my card fitted more challenges yesterday - I just need to make it quicker.
