Merry Christmas Penguins

Hi, hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend. I've just finished work for today, just tomorrow morning to go and then I can relax. Quite a few challenges are asking for Christmas cards at the moment and I have been looking for an excuse to use one of the other LOTV stamps that fell into my basket the other day. I found my card quite hard to photograph today  (too little light in the back garden and too much in the front). This image is quite large so I was struggling with a layout until I remembered some cards that I bought from Hunkydory.

Taking A Rest

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are all enjoying the weekend, weather isn't too brilliant today so I have spent some time crafting. I would also like to say hello to my new followers, thank you for following me. Sorry I haven't been around much this week, but it has been really busy at work, and I have spent some time  getting the girls ready to go back to school.  I was very naughty, I couldn't resist - I bought a couple of the new christmas stamps from Lili of the Valley. oops (a paper pad fell into my basket as well) well it was free postage. I have made today's card using one of my new stamps and paper, I have used frosted lace stickles for the snow because I like the icy texture that it gives. I have also followed the sketch at Friday Sketch Challenge.

A Girlie Christmas

I'm looking forward to the weekend as I am going away for a couple of days and the sun is supposed to be shining!!!!The challenge at Jingle Belles is to make a Christmas card using green or red, but not both. White on White Christmas

Candy Cane Tester

Good evening, hope everyone is keeping well, it has been another fine day here - not that I've seen much of it as I've been at work today. My card this evening is a Christmas card that I made yesterday (I had to wait until this morning to photograph it because it was too dark). I have been inspired by the challenge at Winter Wonderland where they want to see candy canes, I thought this house mouse stamp was perfect., the papers also have candy canes and I have used the colours from these for my colour scheme.  My layout follows a sketch at sketch n stash where the challenge is a free choice (I chose the sketch from challenge 64). As the papers are quite busy I used card candy to finish, coloured to match the papers.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

.......in the meadow we can build a snowman .....This is my second post today and no I haven't spent today making cards, they were made yesterday but by the time the glitter had dried it was too dark to photograph them. I have made this card for the Penny Black Saturday challenge which was no patterned paper. I have used a cuttlebug embossing folder 'winter scene'. The roofs have been glittered with stickles 'frosted lace' to give a snow covered effect.

My First Christmas Card

This is the first Christmas card that I have made this year, I am determined not to leave them to the last minute this year, also I have been itching to use my new memory box die.
