Little Girls - Swing Time

Hope you all have had a good weekend, sorry I haven't been around much, I'm having a new bathroom put in and its surprising how disruptive it has been. It poured with rain most of yesterday and I wanted to craft and most of the things that were in the bathroom have been put in front of the things I wanted to craft with. Still I managed it in the end. The bathrooms almost finished so things can get back to normal. I have used my new embossing folder (I love this, think I shall be using it lots) and a lotv stamp, its one of the first that I bought and I haven't used it for ages. It reminds my of when my sisters and I were little, trying to take the dog on the swing, trouble was the seat wasn't that wide!!!

Ingredients:

image - lotv 'little girls - swing time'
embossing folder - couture creations 'tied together'
papers - first edition 'sweet owl',  bazzil card/silver mirri

Super Striker

Hope everyone had a good weekend, it was fairly quite here yesterday so I had a bit of time to craft. I decided to make a male card for a change, as I hadn't made one for a while and it was an excuse to use another stamp that hadn't seen any ink. I've got a few male birthdays coming up so I decided not to add a sentiment until I decide what I am going to do with it.

Ingredients:

image - lotv 'super striker'
papers - 'nitwits'

Merry Christmas Penguins

Hi, hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend. I've just finished work for today, just tomorrow morning to go and then I can relax. Quite a few challenges are asking for Christmas cards at the moment and I have been looking for an excuse to use one of the other LOTV stamps that fell into my basket the other day. I found my card quite hard to photograph today  (too little light in the back garden and too much in the front). This image is quite large so I was struggling with a layout until I remembered some cards that I bought from Hunkydory.

Ingredients:

image - lotv 'merry christmas penguins'
cuttlebug embossing folder - 'polka dots'/'snow dots'
marianne poinsettia die
spellbinders nestabilities

Golden Wedding

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. I would like to say hello to my new followers and apologise for not having been around much last week. I will try and catch up with you all later. Bit of a change in the weather today, after such a fabulous weekend. I took my grandsons to Legoland on Sunday and the weather was glorious - the boys even went in the splash pools and fountains. My card today is one that I made for a friends wedding. Her colour scheme was gold so I made her card to match. This was the first time that I have tried inking the embossing folder, before embossing the card, I was quite happy with the result and it made the embossing look totally different. As I didn't have any wedding stamps when I made the card I used a LOTV die cut square mounted on gold card.

Ingredients:

image - lotv
cuttlebug embossing folders
gold card/ribbon from stash
sentiment - lotv

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Good afternoon everyone, hope your are enjoying your weekend. I had the last two bank holidays off work so I have to work tomorrow. Wish the weather would make up its mind, yesterday we had rain and a humongous thunderstorm, today the sun is shining but it is really muggy. 'In the Garden'

Hello everyone, hope you are all well, almost the weekend, can't wait. My card today has been made with the challenge at Lili's Little Fairies in mind. The theme this week is in the garden and I thought that this stamp was perfect. I have tried to make a garden scene using die cuts. I have used the fence before but not the others. Gone Fishing/Father's Day

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are all well. It had still been sunny here until about ten minutes ago, when the clouds opened, it is now chucking it down and there is thunder and lightning. It has been very muggy today so hopefully it will now cool down.  My card today is for the Lili's Little Fairies Challenge, who want to see anything but a square,  and I think I am going to make it by the skin of my teeth.  I bought some Kanban cards a little while ago, and they are really different - round, hexagonal - great for this challenge and as I haven't made a male card for a little while I thought I would make a father's day card.

Fishing Buddies

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, Bank Holiday tomorrow, but I've got to work. I've managed to find time over the weekend to make another Christmas Card - my collection is growing, at this rate I might have enough ready and wont need to panic make at the last minute. My card has been inspired by the ABC Christmas challenge where the theme is 'icy', the snowflake doily and the ice have been painted with glamour dust glitter paint and they are a lot more sparkly in real life. I decided to stay with the white theme and emboss the greeting with white embossing powder which doesn't really show up in the photograph.

Ingredients:

papers - white card embossed with cuttlebug 'swiss dots/snowdots
papermania 'snow flurry'
image - lotv 'fishing buddies'

Chloe's First Card

Hi everyone, hope you have had a lovely weekend. I have managed to do some crafting and today was an ideal time to create. However, both my crafting and my blog have been hijacked by my daughter. She suddenly decided she wanted to do some colouring, so first I found her an image and then some pens. Then she decided she wanted to make the image into a card so my stash has been hijacked and now she wants her card published on my blog,  lol. I did suggest she start her own blog but she doesn't know how to.
